Child Safety Standards
MigrantPortal is committed to the safety and protection of all users, especially minors. This page outlines our standards and practices to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform.
1. Our Commitment
MigrantPortal strictly prohibits any content or behavior that sexually exploits or endangers minors. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, solicitation, or any other form of exploitation. We have zero tolerance for violations of this policy.
2. Platform Design Safeguards
- Account registration requires users to be 18 years of age or older
- All accounts are reviewed and manually approved by an administrator before access is granted
- User-generated content (needs and responses) is moderated and subject to reporting
- The app does not allow anonymous posting — all users must register with a verified email address
- Direct messaging is only available between approved, registered users
3. Reporting Mechanisms
Users can report suspicious or harmful content or behavior directly within the app using the report/flag feature. All reports are reviewed promptly by our team.
To report child safety concerns outside the app, contact us at: support@migrantportal.com with the subject line "Child Safety Report".
4. Response to Violations
- Accounts found violating child safety standards are immediately suspended and permanently banned
- All confirmed CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by US law
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations
