These navigators have first-hand knowledge of the critical and urgent needs that stand between a family and stability — from school enrollment to housing to basic necessities. MigrantPortal gives them a trusted channel to act on what they see.

Navigators — caseworkers, social workers, teachers, and agency staff — submit needs directly into MigrantPortal on behalf of the families they serve. Each request is reviewed to ensure it is accurate, legitimate, and genuinely important to the family's wellbeing. This layer of trust protects families and ensures responders can give with confidence. Family privacy is protected throughout.

Once a need is submitted, MigrantPortal immediately notifies faith communities, volunteers, and partner organizations within close proximity.
